Jacki Belcastro has been interested in art since she was a child. With a recognizable style and a wide range of subjects, Jacki has been a successful profesional artist for over 20 years - she has exhibited in NSW galleries and in over fifty art exhibitions in NSW and Victoria.

As a young adult Jacki was interested in folk art and soon progressed to decorative art. Later, when she began painting wildlife flora and fauna in water colour, her fine art career took off.

For the last ten years Jacki has mainly worked in pastels, acrylic and oil which allows her to increase depth and brightness - effects that can't be achieved with watercolour.

Jacki now lives on the NSW North coast, where her inspirational surroundings have influenced her resent works. These range from realist Australian Flora & Fauna to contemporary still life and, more recently, waterscapes and seascapes.
